Please note that the following link can only change the wireless settings of a computer that is linked to your own personal Sky broadband service. Also please remember that while you carry out the following steps, you will be making changes to your wireless connection, so you may need to reconnect or refresh the page before continuing at certain points.

1.On a PC that is connected to your Sky broadband, enter the address http://192.168.0.1
into the address bar:

In the sign in box, enter username: admin and password: sky.

To change your Sky Broadband wireless router settings follow the steps below

From the main menu on the left had side, click Wireless Settings under Set up.
If you do not want to use the router wirelessly, clear the tick box for Enable Wireless Access Point then select Apply. This will prevent any unauthorised user from accessing your wireless network.

To change your Sky Broadband wireless router settings follow the steps below.

If you intend to use the Wireless Network, then change the default password (also referred to as a network key) in the WPA-PSK Security Encryption section to one of your own choosing. Your password can be characters and numbers – we recommend a mixture of both. Type in your new password, then select Apply. This will make it very difficult for any unauthorised users to access your wireless network.

Lost Password - Reset

Write down the new password (network key) somewhere secure or on your Wireless Settings ‘Keep me handy’ card provided with the router, to be stored in a safe place. If you forget your new Wireless network password, you can either change the password to a new one following the steps above, or reset your Sky wireless router to the default settings - which will reset the Wireless network password to the Network Key/password listed on the label on the bottom of your router.
To reset your Sky wireless router to the default settings, with your Sky Broadband box switched on, press and hold a blunt pointed object (such as a pen) in the small reset button on the back until the test light blinks, then release the button. Your Sky Broadband box will restart with the default settings.
